Chocolate chip cookies

You must have had cookies or biscuits alongwith tea or coffee. Have you ever fancied the idea of baking your own cookies? Here is a very simple recipe of making delicious cookies. Just pop-up the standard ingredients, mix well and put them in oven. Don't even worry about their shapes, sizes etc. It will come out nice rounded shapes on its own. Here I have added chocolate chips, you can alternatively use white chocolate chips, or shredded coconut or something similar to give it different tastes.

Ingredients
Note: These amounts will make around 30 cookies

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
150 gram unsalted butter room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup dark chocolate chip

Method

Mix butter and sugar for 2 to 3 min until smooth and well combined the help of hand mixer.

Gradually add egg and vanilla extract and mix well

Add flour and chocolate chip in it and mix well.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and take small scoops of the above mixture and keep them on the tray around 3cm apart. Don't worry about the shape, it will slowly take the shape of rounded cookies on its own because of butter. Just remember to keep them sufficient apart, else they will get stick to each other during baking.

Place the tray in a preheated 180C oven for 15 min.

Now remove from oven and keep aside for cool .

Enjoy you chocolate chip cookies.
