Pav Bhaji



Pav Bhaji is one of the most popular street foods especially in Mumbai. Today I am sharing recipe of Pav Bhaji and in this recipe we haven’t used any Pav Bhaji masala so it’s not spicy at all and still gives you amazing taste and flavor of Pav Bhaji. This is a perfect dish to make for kids birthday party as it less time consuming, tasty and not very spicy.

Ingredients:

4 chopped tomatoes
4 boiled potatoes
1 chopped carrot
1/2 chopped capsicum
1/2 small bowl boiled peas
1 bowl chopped cauliflowers
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 small bowl chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon gsram masala powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon black papper powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
4 tablespoon ghee

Directions:                         
1.  Put all the vegetables in pressure cookers except onions and tomatoes in a pressure cooker and give 1-2 visil. The vegetables have be to cooked completely
2.  After that lightly mash all the vegetables and keep them aside
3. Take a pan and add ghee / oil and heat it then add cumin seeds, after that add chopped onions. Fry the onions till they become light brown now add chopped ginger and garlic and again fry for 2 to 3 minutes
4. After that add tomatoes and sauté till they become soft
5. Now add all the mashed vegetables into this
6. Then add the salt , chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix it properly.
7. Now add little water and combine mix everything well
8. Keep on stirring occasionally and let the bhaji simmer for 12-15 minutes. If the bhaji becomes dry and then add some more water depending upon the consistency you want to have
9. Now your bhaji is ready. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and if you like then you can also add 2-3 spoons of butter
10. Serve your Bhaji with Pav or bread
