Marie Biscuit Cake




Few days back I shared the recipe of Biscuit Cake and today I am also sharing recipe of another biscuit cake but this one is totally different from the previous one and doesn’t require a microwave. I am sharing recipe of Marie Biscuit Cake today, this one not only looks different compared to other cakes but also tastes very different. It is wonderful, light dessert to make for any lunch or dinner party. So enjoy this easy and hassle free Marie Biscuit Cake!

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1 Marie Biscuits
2 tablespoon cocoa powder
4 tablespoon sugar powder
1 small bowl fresh cream

1 small bowl Marie biscuit powder

Method:

1. In a bowl take milk.
2. In the milk add Coco powder and sugar and mix it properly.


3. Dip marie biscuits in the bowl and keep the biscuits in the bowl for 3 to 4 minutes.


4. After that remove the biscuits from the bowl and keep make a pile of them on another plate (put them on top of each other).


5.  Keep this plate in fridge for 30 minutes.

6.  During this time prepare icing mixture for the cake, in a bowl take fresh cream, coco powder
     and 1 tablespoon sugar.

7, Then take the plate out from the fridge and with the help of spoon cover the biscuits completely from all sides with icing mixture.




8.   Once it is completely covered with icing mixture then put marie biscuit powder on it
       and completely cover it.

9.   Now Keep this plate again in fridge for 30 minutes.

10. Now take out the plate and with the help of sharp knife cut your cake in slices or circular
      shape (Remember for proper shape cut it slantingly).      

11.  Now enjoy your Marie Biscuit Cake.  You can serve it with vanilla ice cream and tutti frooti
        or can have it plain.

Sooji Kheer


How can we end any season special without a dessert,Today I am sharing recipe of Sooji Kheer. This kheer is very easy to make and is extremely light dessert to have. This season enjoy new Sooji Kheer instead of your normal rice kheer.

Ingredients:

1/2 litter milk
1/2 small bowl sooji
1/2 small bowl cashew nut powder
1 teaspoon Kewra Essence
4 to 5 raisins for garnish
1 tablespoon ghee
2 tablespoon sugar

Method:

1. Roast sooji in a frying pan without oil for 2 to 4 minutes. 

2 .Take another pan and roast cashew with ghee.



3.   Then grind cashew nut in mixer and make powder.

4.   Boil milk in open mid size pan.

5.   After the milk is boiled add roasted sooji and cashew nut powder.

6.   Keep it on low flame till sooji becomes soft.

7.   Switch off the burner  and then add sugar and Kewra essence and mix it well.

8.   Cover it with lid and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

9.   Garnish your Sooji Kheer with raisins.

10.  You can serve this kheer hot or cold depending upon your preference

Mutton Masala


Our third dish for Ramzaan special is Mutton Masala!! This dish is extremely rich in terms of flavours and slow cooking technique is used in it. This mutton is made in pressure cooker but if you have a big handi at your home then I will recommend you to use that as it will really bring out the flavours. This mutton is little spicy and gives right punch to your taste buds. I would say perfect dish to cook for a dinner party!

Mutton Samosa




Second dish that I am sharing for Ramzan special is delicious Mutton Samosa.  This snack is just perfect for any party, easy to make and delicious to eat. Next time when you are in a mood to try some new snack then do try these Mutton Samosa they taste just yum!!

Saunf (Fennel) Sharbat


We are starting our Ramzan Special by sharing recipe of very tasty and refreshing drink – Saunf Sharbat. It is very easy to make and has a refreshing quality which makes it a very pleasant drink.  So do start your Iftar with this cool and refreshing sharbat.
Ingredients:

2 tablespoon Saunf (Fennel) Powder
5-6 mint leaves
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 glass cold water

Directions:

1.       Take a glass of cold water and add saunf powder and sugar and mix it properly
2.       Then using a strainer, sieve the drink
3.       Add lemon juice and mint leaves and mix it properly
4.       Now your tasty fresh Saunf Sharbat is ready to serve

Biscuit Cake



Today I am sharing recipe of very easy 7 minutes microwave cake. It is delicious in taste and doesn’t require too many ingredients so if you are new to baking then do try this easy cake. 
Ingredients:

2 packets Bourbone Biscuits (150 Gms Each)
1 packet Parle G
200 ml milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon Eno (plain one)
1 tablespoon oil grease
1 bowl dry fruits ( as you like)






Directions:
1.       Crush all the biscuits in a mixer grinder
2.       Then take it out in a bowl and put milk in it and let it soak for sometime (5-7 minutes)
3.       Then mix it properly so there are no lumps and then add vanilla essence, dry fruits and eno and mix it properly

4.       Then take a microwave bowl and grease it with oil and pour the mixture in it and microwave it for 7 minutes
5.       After that leave it in microwave only for 5-10 minutes
6.       After that take it out and cover it with a lid and serve it when it is little cooler

7.       Your delicious Biscuit Cake is ready

Creamy Chocolate & Vanilla Cake


Its cake time, today I am sharing recipe of Creamy Chocolate & Vanilla Cake, it is very easy to make and it has the perfect smoothness and richness which you want in your cake. Do make this yummy cake for someone special J

Ingredients

For Base

2 cup all purpose  flour
1 cup vegitable oil
2 cup powder sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
200 gms cocoa powder

For Icing

400 ml Amul fresh cream
4 tablespoon icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanila essence
7-8 ice cubes

For Garnishing

1 small cup tutti frooti 
2 tablespoon chocolate chips
 Directions:

For Baking
1.       Grease the baking tin and dust it with flour
2.       Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
3.       Put maida, all purpose flour, vegetable oil, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder and mix properly so that they don’t make lumps
4.       Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or till the tooth pick inserted in the centre of the cake and comes out clean
5.       Remove from oven, cool for a while. Loosen sides of cake, using a knife if necessary
6.       Turnout over a plate and cool slightly before cutting it

For Icing
1.       Take a big pot and put some ice cubes in it, now put cream on the ice cubes
2.       Start whipping only cream first, then after 10 mins put your pot in freezer for 5 to10 minutes, take out and whip again then add icing sugar, keep whipping till you get light and fluffy texture
3.        Your whipping cream will be ready in sometime (You have to be little patient when you are using Amul fresh cream as it takes little time to become light and fluffy

For Garnish
1.       Cover the cake with whipped cream and put it in freezer for half an hour to set
2.       Then take it out and sprinkle with tutti frooti and choco chips
3.       Refrigerate it for sometime
4.       Now cut your cake in pieces and enjoy

Sangria Mocktail


In the months of summer only thing that keeps playing on my mind is fresh refreshing drinks, more than food I like to experiment with different mocktails in this season. One of such is Sangria Mocktail originally Sangria is typical beverage from Spanish and Portugal and normally consists of wine, fresh fruits, sweetener and brandy but today I am sharing recipe of Indian Sangria minus the alcohol part so this summer enjoy your very own Indian Sangria J
Ingredients:

1/2 small glass sprite
1/2 small glass apple juice
1/2 small glass litchi juice
2-3 mint leaves per glass
1 pinch cinnamon powder
1/2 tea spoon salt
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup chopped apple
1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds

Directions:

1.       Take equal amount of sprite, apple and litchi juice in a glass and mix it well
2.       Now add the crushed mint, chopped apple pieces, cinnamon powder in the glass and mix
3.       Now add salt and sugar  and stir it properly
4.     Now garnish your drink with pomegranate seeds
5.       Now your tasty fresh Sangria Mocktail is ready to serve
